In Loving Memory of Shawn Robinson

July 9, 1967-April 12, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Shawn, whose kindness, humour, and love of music were a guiding light for so many.

Shawn spent his life forging a career as a builder and skilled tradesman, always going above and beyond to support friends and neighbours with a helping hand without hesitation. His passion for music spanned four decades in the Toronto music scene, drumming for bands including, Suburban Circus, Dez Monas, Smashed, Joe Virus, The Speed Kings, and the Raclones. Shawn and Tracey spent many happy hours dreaming about retiring to their cottage in the Kawartha Lakes.

His beautiful spirit will be greatly missed by his wife of 28 years, Tracey (nee Reid), his son, Booker and the rest of his heartbroken family. He also leaves a legacy of connection and loyalty that touched 

so many lifelong friends. A celebration of Shawn’s life is being planned so everyone can gather to share memories and honour a life well lived. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Shawn’s memory.

We will forever hold him in our hearts and find comfort in the love and kindness he brought to all who knew him.
