Tome Andreevski Obituary
In Loving Memory of Tome Andreevski
It is with profound sadness and broken hearts, yet with eternal love, that we mourn the passing of our beloved father, Tome Andreevski. Tome passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family by his side, on April 23, 2026, at 9:17 p.m.
Tome was born in Ezereni, Macedonia, on August 2, 1932, the first-born son of Tale and Pana. He was predeceased by his sister Vera and his brother Kico, and leaves behind his brother Dorce and his sister Cena.
Tome was a beloved husband to Zivka (predeceased in 1981). They were married in 1961 and their marriage was filled with love and beautiful memories. They are now reunited in heaven.
He was an amazing father to his daughter Rose (Steve) and a loving father to his son Zoran, who will miss him deeply. Tome was also an extremely proud Dedo (grandfather), who cherished his grandchildren, Jaclyn (Daniel) and Stephanie, and great-grandfather to precious Tommy and Emily, whom he treasured dearly.
Being the oldest child, Tome worked very hard from a young age and took on many responsibilities to support his family. His family depended on him, and alongside his father, he helped provide food and necessities. He was truly the most hard working man.
In 1970, Tome had the opportunity to work in Germany, and after two years, he immigrated to Canada in hopes of building a better life. He was a proud Canadian citizen and deeply grateful for the opportunity to live in this beautiful country.
He worked hard as a welder in a factory for over 25 years and retired at the age of 65.
In his spare time, Tome enjoyed gardening and took great pride in planting the most beautiful garden every summer. He loved going for long walks, spending time with friends, reminiscing about his homeland, and telling jokes that made everyone around him laugh. He was passionate about his Macedonian heritage and took great pride in it, often enjoying dancing to traditional Macedonian music. He also enjoyed watching his favourite shows and films, including James Bond movies and White Christmas.
After his retirement, Tome enjoyed traveling with his son to Florida, Arizona, Australia, and Macedonia.
We are forever grateful for the sacrifices he made to create a better life for his family. His legacy of love, resilience, and kindness will live on in our hearts forever.
His warm heart, kind spirit, and deep love for his family and friends will never be forgotten. He will be missed by all who knew him.
We will miss you so much, Dad (Tate), and we will love you forever and always.
Rest in Peace, Dad (Tate)
