John Morton McLaren , age 79 passed away peacefully on April 19th, 2026 with his family by his side.

He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and a cherished brother. He will be remembered for his kindness, wit, patience, supportive nature, and the love he shared with all who knew him.

He is lovingly survived by his wife, Angela; his children, Gillian (Justin), and Iain (Victoria), and his beloved grandchildren, Jaxon and Olivia. He is also survived by his sisters, Mary (Martin) and Patsy (Bob) and all his nieces and nephews.

He will be deeply missed by extended family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
