Nancy Irene Paine (nee Armstrong)

January 27, 1943 - March 30, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy on Monday March 30, 2026 at the age of 83. She will be greatly missed by her devoted husband David of 63 years,. Beloved Mother of Suzanne (Randy), Mark and Mike (Jacquelyn). Very proud Nana of Ryan, Alyssa, Jordan and Carter. Loving GiGi to Sadie and soon to be Bennett. Dear sister to her late sister Shirley(Vic) and brother John (Lyn).

Born in Toronto on January 27, 1943 to parents Irene & William (Bill) Armstrong. She lovingly raised her family on Point Grey Crescent in Scarborough then moved to Markham in 1989 to be closer to her first grandchild. They enjoyed 35 years on Walkerton Drive before moving to Wilson Street in 2024. Her family was her priority and greatest joy. She will be deeply missed.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a Celebration of Life for Nancy at the DIXON GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street North, Markham on Monday April 6, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. The service will be followed by refreshments in the reception room.

Our family would like to extend a special thank you to the Doctors and Nurses at Markham Stouffville Hospital for their compassionate care of Nancy.
