In Loving Memory of John Alexander "Rae" Donaldson 

October 20, 1934 - March 20, 2026 

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Alexander "Rae" Donaldson, who passed peacefully at home at the Sundial Retirement Home in Orillia on March 20, 2026, at the age of 91. Rae will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and the love he shared with his family and friends. 

He is lovingly remembered by his children, John (wife Jane) and Glen, and by his daughter Linda, who predeceased him. 

Rae was also the loving partner of Jean McAvella, who predeceased him. 

A proud and devoted grandfather, he will be dearly missed by Michael, Sarah, and Jennifer. Rae was also a cherished great-grandfather to Ava, who brought him great joy. 

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on March 27 from 11am to 1pm, with the service to follow at 1pm.

Rae's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
