Obituary of Colleen Elizabeth Page
Colleen Elizabeth Page (née Brennan)
June 19, 1953 – January 29, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Colleen Elizabeth Page (née Brennan), who died peacefully on January 29, 2026, at Markham Stouffville Hospital, at the age of 72, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
Colleen was born in Toronto on June 19, 1953, to the late Audrey and Guy Brennan. She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Ross Page, and was a devoted and loving mother to Kim Page and Courtney Page (Mike Carroll). She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Sydney and Cameron Carroll, who brought her endless joy. Colleen is also survived by her brother, Mark Brennan.
Colleen dedicated over 30 years of her career to Bell Canada, followed by 20 years of service with the City of Markham. She was known for her strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment—qualities that defined both her professional and personal life.
Colleen had a sharp wit and a wonderful sense of humour. She loved to cook and was especially famous for her baking, often bringing people together around her table. She enjoyed entertaining, generously caring for others, and took immense pride in spoiling her grandchildren and beloved grand-dogs. Her kindness and generosity will be deeply missed.
Diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on Christmas Eve, Colleen endured a cruel battle with strength and grace. In her final moments, she was peaceful and at rest, surrounded by family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to visitation at Dixon Garland Funeral Home, Main Street, Markham, on Wednesday, February 4, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. and 5:00–7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 5, at 11:00 a.m., with a reception to follow. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Thornhill, where Colleen will be laid to rest beside her parents.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Markham Stouffville Hospital for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Markham SPCA Adoption & Education Centre, a cause close to Colleen’s heart:
Colleen will be remembered for her love of family, her warmth, her humour, and the many lives she touched. She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered.
