Obituary of William (Bill) Alfred Morris

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of William (Bill) Alfred Morris, who died peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital on January 11, at the age of 95. Bill was a longtime resident of Wyndham Gardens and will be fondly remembered for his warmth, integrity, and enduring spirit.

Bill spent many years working in sales in the fastener industry, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. Beyond his career, his greatest passions—next to his family—were skiing and his faith. An avid and competitive skier well into later life, Bill embraced the sport with enthusiasm and determination. He was also a man of deep faith and remained actively involved with his church for many years.

Bill was devotedly married to his beloved wife, Elaine, for 68 years, and is lovingly survived by her. He is also survived by his son, Brian (Pam Capaldi), and his daughter, Carol-Ann (Paul Freeman). Bill was a proud and loving grandfather to Sarah, Thomas, Michael, and Claire.

For those who wish, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
