JOHNSON, Roy passed away peacefully on December 7th, 2025 with his family by his side. Roy was born in Sheffield England on May 15,1934 . Predeceased by his loving wife Dorothy of 59 years.  Survived by his three children Paul (Yvonne) Peter and Cathy. Six Grandchildren Emily (Paul),Leah(Chris)Devon,Jamie (Caterina) Harley and Owen and great grandchildren Remi, Leo,Samantha and Baby Thomson. 

Roy loved spending time on the water with family and friends making cherished memories in his boat Knotty Lady.  Roy was able to experience one last boat trip this summer. 

Roys last wish was to set sail into the sunset. We will be honouring this wish with family in the summer. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society of York Region would be greatly appreciated
