Passed peacefully at Downsview Long Term Care on October 19, 2024. Beloved mother of Lesley Lake(John) and Andrew Maypother.

Loving wife to Trevor Maypother. Shirley was a beacon of life, she loved to have a good time, a good laugh, a tall glass of wine, spending time with children along with animals and a ride in a topless convertable.

A beautiful gathering was held in her memory. In leiu of flowers donations may be made to SickKids.

Shirley will be loved and deeply missed.
