Obituary of Elizabeth Stanway

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Stanway (née Vajda), a beloved mother and grandmother. Elizabeth was born in Hungary and bravely emigrated to Canada in 1957.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, Paul Stanway. She leaves behind her cherished children: daughter Lisa Kobayashi and her husband Marc, and son Paul Stanway Jr. and his wife Karen. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Ivy and Brian Kobayashi, who brought her immense joy.

Elizabeth had a passion for creating and sharing. She loved cooking large family meals, baking delicious treats, and crafting beautiful pieces through knitting and sewing. Above all, Elizabeth loved her family deeply.

Her legacy of kindness, strength, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
