Obituary of Donna Marie Kennett

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donna Marie Kennett (Dimma) at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Saturday June 14th, 2025 at the age of 83.

Born at a 'birthing house' on George St. in Markham, Ontario on August 3rd 1941, to Lorne Gordon Dimma and Della Williamina Dimma (Brown)

Raised on the homestead at the corner of Reesor Rd. (10th Line) and 14th Avenue.

She attended Cedar Grove Public School and graduated from Markham High School ( she attended Old Markham High, and new Markham High the first year it opened).

Throughout her life, Donna bred black Labs, while living on the farm, worked in administration at Doctor's Hospital in Toronto, and after retiring, she's traveled with her husband and her beloved animals in their RV, camping and seeing the sights across Canada and the USA.

Her passing will leave a large empty space in the hearts of her daughter, Lori, son in law, Greg, grandson, Kyle and his wife Victoria.

She will also be missed by everyone who came to know her.

Pre deceased by her older sister, Darlene Blake (Dimma)

There will be a Celebration of Life on August 3rd, 2025 at 2:30 pm
