Carol Agnes Margret Hoover – 1944 -2025

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Carol on Monday June 9^th 2025 at the age of 80.

Beloved wife to Doug (predeceased 2018).  Loving mother of Ann (Wayne), Alan (Lisa).  Dear Nana of Matthew (Brittney), Taylor (Kristen), Samantha (Brandon) and David.  Predeceased by her parents Russell and Margaret Smith.  Sister to Gerald Brown (predeceased).  A special thank you to all the kind and caring staff at Westshore Village, Palliative Resources Nurse Stephanie Curran, Dr. Ethan Weiss and all the amazing staff and volunteers at the Oak Ridges Hospice.  Family and friends will be received at the Dixon—Garland funeral Home, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham on Friday June 13^th from 10:30 until time of service in the chapel at 12 noon.  For those who wish a donation, contribution can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry.
