To Mike, Kathryn, Michelle, Allison and Lenore
Words are not enough to express our sadness that Joy passed away on Mother’s Day. Our friendship goes back to decades. When her parents got married, our 3 year old sister was a flower girl, and our oldest brother was the page boy. Our friendship deepened in Canada. Joy continued to be a major part of our family, attending family events and making visits to us in NS, US. Trrinidad, and BC. Our close ties made visits to Toronto feel like home. Her presence lit up the room. We always kept in touch with regular phone calls whether they were to share recipes ( Aunty’s black cake) family stories, travel experiences and of course the Joy of becoming a proud grandma! We have countless memories that will always stay with us., We will all miss her. May she rest in Peace.
From The Bhola family.

Dear Mike and Family,
We were so grateful to have Joy in our lives. We had many wonderful conversations at church. She always wanted to know how our family was doing and she was eager to bring us up to speed on her own daughters, and eventually grandchildren. It was so evident that her love for them was endless.
Joy had a positive and cheerful personality which we will remember for a very long time and we especially enjoyed seeing her response when she won the Easter Lamb cake competition last year.
We are thinking of your whole family at this time.
May Joy rest in peace and rise in glory.
Michael, Bonnie, Arden and Perri Worrell

Our sincere condolences on the loss of this beautiful, warm, kind, caring, funny soul whom we love and called Joy. She was full of life and loved her family so much and adored her darling grandchildren.
We will never forget her and the memories will last forever.
Mike, she loved you to the Moon and back and Katherine, Michelle and Allison, she adored you all and was very proud of each you and your accomplishments.
God had some other plans for her and she was summoned home to be part of his army of Angels. Now you all have your own special Guardian Angel, forever.
