I’m so sorry to hear of Sam’s passing. He was a good friend to me when I came to MDHS in grade 10 not knowing anyone my age. Sports brought us together and Sam was not only an inspiration on the field but was such a lovable character in life. I have and will think of him fondly and often. My condolences to the family.
