I had the good fortune to work with Betty at Ko's. Smooth and charming, smart and hard-working, she was just the very best. I remember that she always spoke about her family, too. Her caring ways and kind example were a real influence on us all and that's how she continues on. With sincere condolences.

I am very grateful for all of our childhood memories growing up on Emmeloord Crs. Betty and all of our parents had such incredible patience with us as we grew up and dabbled in various interests from the rockets to the snowmobiles and everything in between. Thank you all for making our childhoods so magical and blessed

As summer time came I remember hearing Aunt Betty was heading to Kenora on the bus, after she and Uncle Robin weren't comfortable driving there, as the years went by. I believe sometimes Betty would go on her own, she must have loved it there, I'm sure it held so many memories.
Having driven across the country a couple of times myself, when driving through Kenora, I would always think, that this was Aunt Bettys special place!
I was always so aware of her love and pride in her family.
She will definitely be missed.

I had the joy of working with Betty at Ko’s Gift Shop, where she was truly the heart and soul of our team. She was the “mom” of our group, always offering kindness, wisdom, and a comforting presence. I recently had the chance to attend a Ko’s reunion at her home, and it was such a gift to see her again. She hadn’t changed a bit, just as warm, welcoming, and full of life as I remembered.
To her family, please accept my heartfelt condolences. Betty made a lasting impact on so many of us, and I will truly miss her!

Shauna and Family,
Shauna, I was so sorry to read your note to me about your Mom's passing. I have a very fond memory of Mrs. Mossaman in her kitchen on that Christmas morning when you all were so very kind to invite me, ("meow" - Chris do you remember this?) she was so incredibly kind & generous - and strikingly beautiful even in her later years. Shauna, you have her beauty.
I know how close your family is so I know that you all know what a broken heart actually feels like. For this I am heartfully sorry.
There are two quotes I recall now but I don't know who wrote them - they seem fitting so I include them here and I hope you find even a small comfort.
For you and your brothers and your families:
"Not even death can steal the love I feel for you."
For you Mr. Mossman, I keep you close in my prayers because it was obvious how much you loved her:
"A spouse's love is stronger than death."
The world has lost another gentle soul. I know you all now have a powerful angel watching over you.
My thoughts/prayers are sincerely with all you.

I worked with Betty at Ko’s many years ago, when I was a teenager. She had such grace with customers and staff—always warm, kind, and patient—and she made me feel welcome and valued. Her sense of humour brought light to our shifts , and I’ll always remember how often she offered me a ride home after work. She was truly special. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

I had the pleasure of working with Betty at Ko's. What a wonderful lady she was. I enjoyed listening to her adventures as a flight attendant. She always had a beautiful smile. Sending my sincere condolences to her family. May your memory be eternal.
