Obituary of Marjorie Killough

Our dearly loved Mother and Nana, Marjorie (Midge) Killough passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025 at Markham-Stouffville Hospital in her  95th year. Beloved wife of William (Bill) Killough (d.2021). Loving mother of Barbara (Ken), Diane (Cary), Joan (Dan) and Bill (Angela). Proud Nana of Lexi, Matthew, Sarah, Cory (Sarah), Haleigh, Daniel, David (Maddy) and Jeffrey. Delighted Great-Nana of Kai, Elaine, Alexander and Evie.

Survived by her brother-in-law Len McNabe of Powell River, B.C. and sister-in-law Isabel Garner of Niagara Falls, Ontario as well as nieces and nephews.

Former employee of Toronto Library System, she was a resident of  Markham for nineteen years. She was active in many choirs with our Dad and was involved with the social club and bridge clubs, and enjoyed helping in the library, knitting and doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles and she never passed up a good glass of wine!

Celebration of Life for both Bill and Midge Killough to be held Sunday, June 22, 2025 from 1 to 4pm at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main St. Markham North, Markham, Ont. In lieu of flowers, donations to Markham-Stouffville Hospital or the Canadian Digestive Health Foundation or a charity of your choice would be much appreciated.
