Joan Gloria Jones-Drury

May 22,1932-March 30,2025

With sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our Mom Joan Drury on Sunday March 30, 2025, in her 93rd year.  She was the daughter of the late Carl and Patricia Sass and was predeceased by her brothers Ronald (Jean) and Neil as well as the great loves of her life, her late husbands Brian Hamilton Jones and John Kenneth Drury.

She is survived by her children Shelley Wallace (Dean), Robin Chen (Wayne), Joan Ralphs ( late Thomas), Karen Collier (Mike), Morgan (Tracey), Tracy Scott (Dave), Norman (Janice) and Bryan (Stephanie).  Joan is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Joan worked as an executive secretary retiring from Esso Chemical in 1987 and then from the Markham Hydro Commission in 1997. 

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Dixon Garland Funeral Home, Markham on Wednesday April 23rd, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Celebration of life service in the chapel on Thursday April 24th, at 11 am.
