George's Family and Friends,
I've not had the pleasure of meeting George, but as a friend of Ryan's, I have heard countless times how deeply George loved and, how deeply he was loved in return. In every story Ryan shares, George always sounds like the world's most wonderful man. Ryan's eyes light up whenever he speaks about his father, which is a testament to the bonds and relationships that he worked to cultivate with his family.
Although I may not have known George personally, I do know that it's never easy to experience this grief and the feelings of loss that accompany it. So I just want to extend my deepest condolences to all of George's friends and family... And I hope that one day the pain will subside, and you can all one day find some feelings of peace and joy in the wonderful memories that you shared and created together with him.
Peace and love to you all.

George and I are not only co-grandfathers to Quinn and Chanel but good friends. I will always cherish the memories of us going to a Bruins/Leafs game me wearing my Bruins Jersey and George wearing his Leafs Jersey. Plus going to Blue Jays games, a raptors game, an Argo game, a lacrosse game and Beach Boys concert. We also went to several vintage car shows always looking for models similar to cars we each owned when we were younger.
George also came to our festive family dinners that we hosted placing him at the head of our dining room table. Next time we host such an affair we will be leaving his chair empty raising our glasses in toasting our family member and good friend.
George is gone but never forgotten.
