I am saddened to learn of Virginia’s passing. She was a beautiful, kind lady. I met Virginia in high school and have many happy memories. Enjoyed her dancing classes at the Train Station as well as the times she took me to Toronto to dance. Unfortunately I am unable to join you today as I am out of town.

I have lost a long time friend. Our backyards joined and the gate between was always open for kids, adults and friends. and neighbours...Many an afternoon was spent at the picric table solving world problems and watching the kids play. Our daughters have been inseparable for over 50 years. Poor Robbie!! I think there were times when the kids were not sure which house they actually lived in. Thanks for the memories.

I also knew Ginger through folk dance. She was a gentle person, soft spoken with a ready
smile for everyone. May she rest in peace. Ginger will be missed. Sheryl Demetro

Ginger was a lovely person that we knew from folk dancing. She would come with Olga and Helen to all our Macedonian events and parties. We are very sorry for your loss. May God rest her soul!

Ginger and I both taught at Markham District High School for many years where we shared many happy times. Ginger also rode with me back in the 1960s as we drove back and forth to York University in my Ford Fairlane. I have many fond memories of our daily trips together and our times together at MDHS.

Ginger was my second mom. She and my mother were neighbors and friends from the moment they bought in Markham, their backyards connected as a welcome to each others homes. From the day I was born, Heather and I were inseparable, and with my mom working full-time as a single parent, my sister Lianne and I spent countless lunches and after-school hours at the Northcotts’ home.
Ginger welcomed us without hesitation—always with a warm hug, a bright smile, a silly joke, and a seat at the table. She never made us feel like extra mouths to feed or guests passing through; we were simply part of the family.
Growing up in Ginger’s household was a privilege. My childhood and formative years are so intertwined with her and her family that she is woven into the very fabric of who I am today. Her kindness, her generosity, and her unwavering love shaped me in ways I will always carry with me.
I will forever be grateful for her presence and the gift of her daughter in my life. My deepest condolences goes to Heather, Rob, Tracy, Issac, Sam and Ginge's remaining family. Sending my love and sympathy.
