Andrea Catherine Raaber

November 14, 1943 - February 11,  2025

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Andrea.  She is lovingly remembered by her Husband Andy, her Daughter Elona and her Grandson Justin. Andrea leaves behind extended family and many dear friends, not just in and around Markham but also in the USA and Scotland. She will be remembered as a “mom” to a few and a friend to many.  Her thoughtfulness was felt by those around her as was her positive, no-nonsense outlook.  Andrea’s elegant style was not just apparent in the way she dressed but also how she helped  her clients with interior decorating.  

Andrea’s days were filled with morning phone calls with friends, afternoons of working out at the gym, running errands and helping or visiting people.  The evenings were often spent cheering for her favourite sports team or watching British tv shows with her family. She was an outgoing, adventurous woman who had a witty sense of  humour and NEVER left the house without lipstick.  She was a bonnie lass with the biggest heart and she will be greatly missed. A private cremation has taken place at her request.

Donations can be made to the Markham Stouffville Hospital in her honour, and in gratitude to the outstanding care she received from the Doctors and Nurses in the ICU.
