Glenna LOVED being a "grandmother" to Makayla and Ella. She gave herself the name Nanty as she was both Nana and Aunty to Makayla and Ella. She was always full of fun and had a great sense of humour. We could laugh till almost peeing our pants while playing games or just being silly. Glenna was giddy to put on a set of wings and a crown so we could take a "tooth fairy" picture for her "grandchildren" when they started to question if the Tooth Fairy was really real. Glenna was so proud of her "grandchildren" and would boast about them to everyone. She always had pictures on her phone to show people and when she would brag about them, it would be bragging about their beauty both outer and inner, their talents in musical instrument playing, drawing, or scholastic achievements, along with their loving, giving, nurturing, their creativity, and their side splitting sense of humour. Her most recent bragging was that they are both studying in the medical field and how they always offer to help her. The last picture really shows her amazing sense of humour and love for her grandchildren as Ella braided Glenna's hair straight up while she was sitting in a store purchasing a phone. When she saw her hair in her phone camera, she laughed and said "Boy, you're really lucky I have a sense of humour". She was present for their every event from the birthing room to special events such as grandparents days at school, performances in plays, Air Cadet performance drill/parade. Glenna loved taking her grandkids to the zoo, the aquarium, on the Toronto Hippo bus, Toronto Ribfest (pictured here) and anywhere else she could think of to take them. They spent the summer with Glenna looking after them while parents worked. Spent a week with them when mom and dad went to another country for an anniversary trip. Glenna enjoyed spending one on one time with them so they each knew how special they are to her and she could concentrate fully on them. Thank you for being such an important part of the lives of my children. You truly were the best mother and grandmother to our family, without you here there is a piece of us missing. Till we see you again one day in heaven, XOXOXO
