Dear Ludbrook Family,
I worked as an apprentice with Don for a number of years in the early 80's so he was literally my mentor for 8 hours each day. I have such fond memories of not only the trade secrets that he taught me but more importantly the life lessons that he shared with such honesty and enjoyment. I hope that he had as much fun working with me as I did with him. I was sad to see that he left us and that I missed the memorial but anyone who knew Don will understand that his memory will live on in our hearts and minds. Truly a special man.
With my most sincere condolences,
Ed Derkowski

Dear Jenifer and family:
I only met Don a couple of times when he visited my folks. They had the greatest admiration for him and it was easy to see why.
We were your local to your Tree farm and in the same business around the same time. Often Don would send customers to us for a special request we could not fulfill and vice versa. My Father did leave us early in January 2017. How times have changed but Don made life so much greater for many
Sincere Condolences,
Terry Forfar

My one and only white Christmas with Uncle Don and Aunt Jenifer will be a lasting and significant memory. On a Christmas tree farm for goodness sake! Real egg-nog and delicious cups of tea listening to my Nannas stories with her intonation but with a slight Canadian twang. So grateful for all the time and everyone’s generosity.
I hope you’re up there with Nancy having another flutter. She will be so pleased to have you there! Much much love to all of the Canadian family.
