PARSONS, Jim (James)

June 22, 1944 – February 25, 2018

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Toronto Western Hospital in his 74^th year. Loving husband of Linda (nee McGowan). Caring father of Paul (Caity) and Michael. Very proud grandfather of William. Devoted son of Mary Parsons-Morris and brother to Barbara MacLeod (Allan, deceased), Joan Saulnier (Paul), Judy English (Bob), and Paula Hudson. Predeceased by his father Herbert Parsons. A dedicated teacher and administrator for 44 years, Jim loved sailing, golfing, and working with his hands. He will be sadly missed by all his friends and family. A visitation will be held at DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main St. N. (Markham Rd.), Markham on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A funeral mass will take place at St. Justin Martyr Parish, 3898 Hwy # 7 East, Unionville, on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 10:30am. Inurnment to take place at Christ the King Catholic Cemetery. Reception will follow at Christ the King. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or a charity of your choice.
